FAQ
A multi (parlay) is when you combine two or more bets into one larger bet. The multi only pays out if every leg wins. In most cases, the odds are calculated by multiplying the individual legs together, which is why the price can jump quickly as you add more selections.
As many as you’d like in theory. Most bookmakers don’t set a tiny upper limit, but practicality kicks in—once you’re stacking 5–6 legs, the chance of landing the whole ticket gets extremely small. You can do it, but it’s generally not recommended if you care about hit rate.
The positive value compounds across the legs, so the expected value can become very strong. The trade-off is that the overall hit rate drops as you add legs. You’ll likely see lots of small losses and the occasional big win that makes up for them and pushes the long-term profit.
